When I was a kid my parents took my two brothers and I camping quite a lot. Then as a cub scout I was exposed to it even more. I loved being in the outdoors and sleeping under the stars. Then I met my wife and talked her into it. We were big time car campers for a very long time. We had two small boys and carried all of our gear in tubs. We loaded the tubs in the trunk of our car and on a hitch hauler as well. Then one summer weekend we went camping at our favorite beach spot.
It was a beautiful weekend. Until it was time to pack ALL our gear back up. The temperatures started to soar. I mean it got HOT. It was soo hot….
That Gary our Gnome found himself defending his beer from the parched Famous Maryland Blue Crab gang. We were miserable putting all that gear away in the hot sun with no shade. No kidding that weekend the temp soared to 101º. We knew that we had to find a better way to carry and stow all our gear.
But How??
